Teatro Audaz confirms fiscal sponsorhip

Today, we are so excited to announce that San Antonio-based Latinx theatre company, Teatro Audaz, has officially confirmed to be our fiscal sponsor. This is a sponsorship that will further our mission of empowering underserved children through free performing arts education by providing essential support to The Good Good Collective Project.

Under the sponsorship, The Good Good Collective will become a Teatro Audaz-sponsored project eligible for grants and will accept tax-deductible contributions on behalf of our project as we work to obtain tax-exempt status. This sponsorship will give us access to resources in order to reach and positively impact more children in underserved communities, providing equal educational opportunities to all students that will help them live a full and successful life. The Good Good Collective is currently involved in performing arts programs in NYC, Mexico and San Antonio and since launching in April ‘21 has reached 175 children.

This announcement comes after exciting news for our founder Brizzo Torres who was honored and awarded $25,000 from Apple Music’s Artist of the Year Bad Bunny x Cheetos, for making an impact on the Latinx Community through music and theatre education as a part of the Deja Tu Huella (Leave Your Mark) Campaign.

The GGC is incredibly excited about this fiscal sponsorship, which will open doors to resources that will help expand our programs, bringing equitable performing arts education to more underserved communities. We are grateful to have Teatro Audaz’s support and for believing in our mission bringing more opportunities to our Latine, Black, Indigenous, children of color.
