Why give?

  • The Good Good Collective’s Bushwick School of the Arts is the only year round, tuition free music, theater, dance and visual arts program of its kind in our neighborhood that operates outside of public school. Your support sustains consistent access to high quality arts education rooted in culture, community, and brain health.

  • We serve Bushwick/Ridgewood kids and teens from working families and immigrant households. Our students come from homes where culture is rich and resources are stretched. Here, they build creative voice, confidence, leadership, and identity through weekly instruction and performance. This is where children learn to take up space with intention.

  • Your Donation Directly Supports:

Weekly music, theater, dance, and visual arts classes
    Teaching artists and program leaders
    Instruments, materials, and creative tools
    Safer, consistent learning space
    Student showcases and community performances

Your gift turns into time, instruction, and belonging.

  • Your donation protects consistent access during the months when families feel the most financial strain and when children need stability, structure, and creative release the most.

  • Local Support Creates Lasting Impact

When you give to Bushwick School of the Arts, your dollars stay in this neighborhood. You are supporting local youth, local educators, and local culture through sustained investment, not one moment.

This work is built child by child, class by class, season by season.

  • The cost of space, supplies, teaching artists, and basic operations continues to rise while access to the arts continues to shrink across the city. Year round programs that operate outside of public school are becoming harder to sustain even as demand grows.

“I’m really thankful for this experience you gave to my granddaughters. Both of them love it all. This program gave my grands a beautiful experience in all fields of the arts..”

“100% recommend! Miss Brizzo is the best she gives her all to the children and the community always going above and beyond. GGC has strengthened and grown my child so much. Thank you for all you do.”

“Brizzo guided myself and 15 volunteers for about 6 weeks of practicing Christmas Carols on our Agenda. She’s an awesome leader and full of joy. She is patient and fun loving. Her personality transcened to us and gave us the courage to go out and perform our Christmas Carols to several Independent Living and Nursing Homes in our community.”
